2 years ago I had a vision to create a curriculum for older students (9th grade and above) that is centered around how to start your own business. Now that vision is a reality.
This business course is unlike anything taught at a traditional high school as it will focus on real skills and training that will equip the student to give them the necessary training to develop and launch their own business.
It is our hope that, after learning what is presented in this course, the student will want to pursue a business opportunity (either part-time or full-time), although that is certainly not a requirement.
This course is also designed to integrate into the busy schedule of a home-school family by allowing the student to learn on-line either live or via a computer-based replay. The course will be delivered over a 32 week period with classes every other week, with one hour classes being held on-line every other Tuesday from 3:00 – 4:00 P.M. Central Time. There will be breaks for Christmas and Spring. (See Schedule Here)
All that is needed is a computer with internet connection. On the alternating weeks the students will have assignments to complete which should take no more than one hour.
